01｜Concept & Requirements
Share your space dimensions and intended use with us. Building on existing CHANGPHEL designs, you may customize the dimensions, patterns, color palettes, materials, and techniques. You may also provide an original design or reference image to begin creating a one-of-a-kind custom textile. Custom orders for a single piece start from 100 × 100 cm. For dimensions smaller than this, the minimum order quantity can be discussed separately.
02｜Design Development
The CHANGPHEL design team can translate your ideas into a Tibetan rug design proposal. From pattern proportions and color composition to the presentation of details, we work closely with you throughout the process, bringing your creative vision faithfully to life.
03｜Renderings & Sampling
Once the design proposal has been finalized and confirmed with you, we will create a simulated rendering of the Tibetan rug and develop a CHANGPHEL-exclusive color palette to suit the design. If you would like to assess the colors or final woven effect more precisely, color samples or a physical prototype can be produced.
04｜Production Lead Time
If you have a specific delivery deadline, please let us know before placing your order. Our production lead time is typically 3–4 months. The exact production schedule will be determined according to factors including the rug’s dimensions, quantity, design and technical complexity, as well as the workshop’s production schedule, and will be confirmed with you before the order is formally placed.
05｜Handweaving & Delivery
Once the final design has been approved, the piece will enter the CHANGPHEL workshop for handweaving. After production and inspection are complete, we will keep you updated in real time on the shipping and logistics progress until the piece arrives at your space.
