Crafted with premium raw materials and time-honored traditional techniques, our rugs inherently deliver outstanding performance: moisture resistance, anti-slip, anti-static, noise reduction, stain resistance and mite repellency.

For handwoven wool rugs, weekly vacuuming delivers optimal dust removal. Always vacuum along the direction of the pile. When necessary, flip the rug over and vacuum dust from the backing. If your rug features fringes, tuck all fringes fully underneath the rug before vacuuming to prevent fraying and abrasion.

Wool naturally contains lanolin, granting CHANGPHEL hand-knotted wool rugs inherent natural stain resistance. In most cases, prompt spot treatment removes blemishes before they penetrate wool fibers, drastically cutting down long-term maintenance work.

For dry stains: Wipe gently with a cold water-dampened cloth first. Sprinkle baking soda or table salt over the area to absorb residual dirt until fully dry, then vacuum thoroughly. Never use bleach, as it will discolor natural wool. For liquid spills such as juice or tea: Blot excess liquid completely with paper towels first, then wipe clean with plain cold water. If glassware breaks on the rug, use wide adhesive tape to lift all tiny glass shards safely.

Avoid arbitrary use of chemical diluents or harsh solvents.
