Abstract geometric compositions possess their own visual vocabulary. Symmetry can evoke a sense of solemnity and balance, while radiating structures convey movement, energy and force.
When form and colour intertwine, visual elements become carriers of emotion, bringing rational composition and sensory expression into dialogue.
The triangular structures of this rug bring together two complementary expressions of strength and vitality.
Upward-pointing triangles suggest stability and authority, while downward-facing triangles evoke movement, exploration and dynamism.
Pear blossom pink, rose violet and dusk purple flow gently into one another through subtle gradients, creating a sense of warmth and comfort. Accents of pomegranate red add vitality and a sense of awakening, while velvet brown and night indigo lend the composition a deep, layered quality.
Made from highland wool sourced from Northern Tibet and woven by CHANGPHEL artisans using refined blended-yarn techniques, the rug reveals a rich, fluid texture.
