Abstract geometric compositions possess their own visual vocabulary. Symmetry can evoke a sense of solemnity and balance, while radiating structures convey movement, energy and force.

The artisans at CHANGPHEL Workshop possess a refined sensitivity to colour. They meticulously calibrate each hue and conduct repeated dye trials to achieve the desired tones.
In hand weaving, creating seamless colour gradations demands exceptional skill and concentration from the weavers. Every transition between light and shadow is assessed through seasoned craftsmanship and carefully balanced across the warp and weft. Layer upon layer of colour creates soft, fluid and harmonious transitions across the entire rug.
